Serving remote villages and surrounding areas across the Paphos region. EFR provides fully trained and equipped volunteer Emergency First Responders, operating 24/7.
- Use a network of volunteer trained responders, ready day and night
- to ensure every resident and visitor in Paphos, and nearby villages, has access to trained first responders
- to reduce emergency response times by pooling volunteer resources under one unified dispatch
- to bridge that critical gap and give everyone in Paphos access to immediate first aid support
- Emergency First Responders are trained at our accredited centre in Tala, Paphos.
- The training course takes place over 2 days
- Volunteers are equipped to respond to calls in their local area. Looking after patients until Paramedics and ambulances are able to attend.
- Emergency Response
Volunteers are alerted via phone/app and dispatched immediately following
initial ambulance contact.
- They carry essential emergency gear—AED
defibrillators, oxygen, stretchers, first-aid kits, and thermal
blankets—allowing them to arrive within minutes to stabilise patients
until paramedics take over.
